Martin started his career as a rural chartered surveyor in Mid Wales and qualified as ARICS in 1985. He subsequently moved to a large firm in Ipswich where he was primarily responsible for a number of large agricultural Estates before setting up his own business in 1991.   Martin Freeman & Co was merged into Fenn Wright in 1998 when Martin became a Partner.

Having managed Fenn Wright's rural division since 1990, Martin has developed a niche specialising in Water and Leisure properties, in particular, fisheries.

Martin's role has been to develop this part of the business, dealing with all aspects of sales, valuations, professional and planning work.

Martin says ‘Fenn Wright are known nationally as the specialists in Water and Leisure properties and we cover the whole of the UK. I enjoy working with a diverse range of clients and have a keen interest in fishing.'

Martin is a Chartered Surveyor with over 30 years as a rural surveyor. Over the last 25 years Martin has developed a niche in valuing water and leisure properties to includes all types of fisheries, fish farms, water sports lakes and facilities, together with abstraction licences.

Martin has provided reports for all types of fishery and leisure related properties in respect of valuations, rent reviews, lettings, compensation claims and disputes.

He has also been instructed as an expert witness or single joint expert providing evidence in planning matters, valuations, compensation and disputes for public enquiry and the court.

Subjects covered are  Farms & Estates, Water & Leisure, Building surveying ,Rural and Commercial projects and Martin is willing to help on any of these matters.
