Professor Panayiotis Kyzas is a Consultant OMFS Head and Neck Surgeon who specialises in major oncological head and neck cancer surgery.
Professor Kyzas undertakes expert witness instructions, including the preparation of medico-legal reports and appearing in court, in personal injury and clinical negligence cases relating to his specialist areas of expertise, including:
- Dentoalveolar surgery
- Oral surgery
- Facial cosmetics (facelift, blepharoplasty, browlift, rhinoplasty, Botox fillers)
- TMJ disorders
- Head & neck surgery: neck lumps (cancer, neck dissection, free flaps, thyroidectomy)
- Facial skin cancer (BCC, SCC, facial melanoma, skin grafts, local flaps)
- Salivary glands (submandibular, parotid, sialolithiasis)
- Facial trauma (mandible, zygoma, orbit, nasal, maxillary fractures)
- Orthognathic surgery – facial deformity
- Laser treatment for facial/intraoral conditions
He was appointed as a visiting Professor in OMFS H&N Surgery at Edge Hill University in August 2023
Professor Kyzas can take instructions on behalf of either claimant or defendant or as a Single Joint Expert.
