Mr Leonard Harris Chartered Accountant
Mr Leonard Harris is a Chartered Accountant having qualified at Wyllie Guild and McIntyre Accountants in Glasgow in 1973 which later became part of the Stoy Hayward Group. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.
After qualifying, he joined Deloitte in Manchester and soon developed a specialisation in acting on investigation assignments. This has developed over 48 years and has encompassed both civil and criminal matters. His historic general practice (1978-2013) involved working for individuals, businesses and companies.
Mr Harris is currently managing director of Harris Confidential Limited, which trades as HCA Consultancy, concentrating his efforts on forensic accountancy assignments. He specialised in insolvency assignments towards the end of 1979 and was appointed as Trustee, Liquidator and Receiver in over 150 appointments, subsequently gaining approval as a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner when the Insolvency Act 1986 became law.
