Mr Steve Garven has over 30 years experience of working on some of the largest, high profile and technically complex projects across the globe and providing independent consultancy, project management, technical/safety authority advice and expert witness services to the onshore and offshore commercial diving, ROV and marine industry.

Mr Garven is a prominent, leading expert with extensive experience in the fields of:

Over the last 18 years, in his role as a diving expert witness, he has acted for both the pursuer and the defendant in personal injury and personal loss cases.

Mr Garven has attained the Cardiff University Bond Solon Civil Expert Certificate and undertaken the following Bond Solon courses: Excellence in Report Writing, Courtroom Skills, Cross-Examination, Civil Law and Procedure. He is an accredited CDER mediator and arbitrator.

He possesses excellent communication, negotiation, commercial and interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional manner and is a very conscientious, trustworthy, committed, sincere, respectful and conversant individual, able to build a rapport at all levels.

Mr Garven is experienced in working in an onshore and offshore multi-cultural environment with operators, contractors and sub-contractors and is fully conversant with living and working in the UK and worldwide overseas including Europe, North America, Caspian Regions, The Middle East, South East Asia, India and Africa.
