I carry out approximately 20 medico-legal reports per annum. My particular interest in this field is the provision of clear and concise
reports to provide an accurate appraisal of the relevant issues in any particular case which should be easily interpreted by non-medical experts.
My specialist areas of interest are:
- Aesthetic breast cancer surgery, either by immediate reconstruction at the time of mastectomy or partial reconstruction at the time of breast conservation surgery or lumpectomy for breast cancer treatment
- Standard breast cancer surgery and treatment
- General surgery
- Hernia surgery - I am a member of the Plymouth hernia service
