Areas of Expertise: Mr Jonathan Durnian is a Consultant Ophthalmologist based at St. Paul's Eye Unit, Royal Liverpool University Hospital. He is the lead clinician for both adult strabismus and neuro-ophthalmology. Mr Durnian is an active researcher, publishing 31 articles in peer-reviewed journals and has spoken at international meetings, worldwide.

Mr Durnian has worked as an expert witness in all areas of general ophthalmology as well the more specialised area of neuro-ophthalmology, dealing with complex cases of both visual loss following the delayed diagnosis of brain tumours and the complex visual problems following catastrophic brain injury.

Mr Durnian has successfully completed the Cardiff University Bond Solon Civil Expert Witness Certificate in Civil Law.
