Consultant Neonatologist

I was a Consultant Neonatologist from 1999 until I retired from clinical practice in Dec 2019. As a Consultant I worked in tertiary level neonatal units covering both medical and surgical conditions.

As well as being a full-time clinician I also held positions as director for my unit and board positions for the operational delivery network for neonatology in NW London. I was also the Associate Medical Director for Clinical Informatics and Transformation at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and I am a Course Director for the UK Resuscitation Council and the European Resuscitation Council Newborn Life Support courses.

My clinical practice covered all areas of neonatal medicine, including the medical care of babies with surgical problems and premature infants. My Medico-Legal practice is split 65% Claimant, 35% Defendant and I have completed 120 reports over the 3 years up to the end of 2020.
